Arrows on the chart
The fourth group in the indicator picker is Signals: buy and sell arrows, drawn on closed candles only, so an arrow never changes once it is drawn. There are four of them, and you can show any combination.
Trend flip and structure break
Trend flip uses Supertrend ten, three: an arrow when the trend flips direction. Structure break uses swings of five candles: an arrow when price breaks the last swing, marked BOS, for break of structure.
VWAP and exhaustion
VWAP reclaim or loss: an arrow when price takes back the VWAP, or loses it. Exhaustion count nine: a count of candles in one direction, with an arrow on the ninth, marking a move that may be running out of steam.
Hear them
Each signal can also ring a sound: a buy signal, a sell signal, and a chart turning against a stock you hold. Set them in the SOUNDS window. In Lite, the SOUNDS button sits on the windows row.
From arrows to trades
In the full desk, these same arrows can also be traded. BUY ON CHART SIGNAL and SHORT ON CHART SIGNAL enter on the arrow you pick, at the candle's close, or early, at a percentage of the way into the candle. Early % of 0 enters at the close; 70 enters 42 seconds into the minute. Exit on opposite signal closes the trade when the opposite arrow appears. That has its own video, in the automation series.
Tools, not advice
Like every indicator, the arrows are tools for your own reading of the chart. None of them is a recommendation, and none of them is right every time. Test them in paper first. Paper mode trades against the live prices, with a virtual wallet.
