Two versions, one program

AutoScanTrade comes in two versions: Lite, and the full desk. Here is what each one does, and why they are really the same program.

Lite: everything you press

Lite is the desk with the automation taken out. You get the scanner, with every filter, session set, column and alert type, the gappers, watchlist, new highs and news windows, and the whole trading panel: buy, short, sell, cover, flatten and cancel, with every hotkey. Locates, halt handling, the risk limits and paper mode are all there too.

Manual trading, in full

The MANUAL TRADING window holds every setting a manual trade uses: take profit, stop loss, trailing stops, and how the order is placed. Long on the left, short on the right. Nothing is held back. It is the same exit engine the full desk uses, for every manual position.

The full desk: trading without you

The full desk adds one thing, in four places: trading without you. The AUTO/BOT window with its entry engines, and arming a side, the profile fleet, and the paper schedule, plus the JOURNAL and ANALYSE windows that read them back.

Nothing greyed that might work

In Lite, the automation controls are simply not drawn, so there is nothing to press by accident. JOURNAL and ANALYSE stay on screen, greyed, and say what they do when you hover. And in Lite, a SOUNDS button joins the windows row, so every alert sound is still yours to set.

Same file, either way

Both versions are one file, byte for byte; a small tier file says which one you have. Lite gets every fix the full desk gets, the day it ships, so moving up later changes nothing on your computer, except which features answer: the automation, the fleet, and JOURNAL and ANALYSE, which come with the full version only.
