Auto exit, per side

Auto exit, one for each side, switches that side's software exits on or off. On: take profit, stop loss, the trailing stop and the step lock all manage that side's positions. Off: none of them run for that side, and only you can close those trades. The desk warns you when you switch it off. Every exit on the desk is a software exit, so it runs only while the program does. The stop loss is not a resting order at your broker, so it cannot fire while the program is closed. If you need a stop that survives the program closing, place it at your broker. Test the settings in paper first, and watch what each exit does before you trust it live.

The ladder tells you

And the ladder says so in red, when exits are off for a side: nothing will fire. So there is no doubt about whether a position is being watched.

Units: percent

Units, per side, decides how take profit, stop loss and trail after are read. In percent, each level is a percentage of the entry price, so the level does not change with the share count. Eighteen percent of a four-dollar stock is the same price, for a hundred shares or a thousand.

Units: dollars

In dollars, they are read as dollars for the whole position, so the price level moves with the size: a fixed dollar target arrives sooner on a bigger position. Percent says I trade a move. Dollars say I trade for an amount.

Changes apply now

Your positions follow the settings as they are now, so a change to take profit or stop loss reaches a trade that is already open.
