Risk discipline - daily loss, trade caps and losing streaks
The risk discipline row, under the filters, is the entry gate. It is checked before every entry you make, when the desk is live. It never blocks an exit, and in paper mode, it is not applied. The gate reads the same counts that the day and net boxes show.

The entry gate
The risk discipline row, under the filters, is the entry gate. It is checked before every entry you make, when the desk is live. It never blocks an exit, and in paper mode, it is not applied. The gate reads the same counts that the day and net boxes show.
Loss and trade caps
Max daily loss: at this much net loss for the day, entries stop for the rest of the day. It survives a restart. Zero is off. Max trades per day caps the number of trades. Neither cap blocks an exit; both only stop new entries.
Losing streaks
Pause after losses: this many losses in a row pauses new entries for that many minutes. End day after losses: this many in a row ends the day's entries entirely. When a limit that ends the day is reached, the desk says DAY OVER, and refuses new entries. The pause lasts for the minutes you set, then new entries are allowed again.
Switch, reset, freeze
Risk discipline is the master switch. Turning it off applies to live trading only, and it is back on every start. RESET DAY starts the day's counters again, without touching your positions. And day and net show today's count and result, as the gate counts them. When a manual entry is blocked, a window says which limit stopped it. The master switch is back on at every start, so check it before you trade.
