Your keys, your way

The HOTKEYS window is where you change every order shortcut. While it is open, your shortcuts are suspended: nothing fires an order until you close it.

SET a key

Press SET beside an action, then press the key combination you want. If that combination is already used, the desk asks whether to move it. Escape cancels.

Limit or market, per action

TYPE sets limit or market for each order action. A limit works in every session. A market order works from half past nine to four, New York time, only. Pressed outside those hours, a BUY or SHORT is not sent, and tells you why, while an exit asks whether to send it as a limit instead.

SIZE per key

SIZE, for BUY and SHORT, can be a fixed number of shares, or blank, to use the order size row on the panel. Each key can have its own fixed size.

The eight buttons

The table below changes the eight buttons under BUY and SHORT. Pick the action, your own label and colour, the size and units, the type and the offset, and its own key. An offset takes cents, or a percentage, and an exit can take both, going at whichever is further through the market. WORKS tells you in which sessions that button can send. Each action appears once in the table. Units are shares, or a percentage of that position. OFFSET is greyed where a button prices nothing of its own. Give each button its own label and colour.

Save it

SAVE keeps your changes for the next session. RESET ALL puts the defaults back. Nothing is written until you save. RESET ALL puts the defaults back, and nothing changes until you save. CLOSE closes without saving.
