What happens to your money
The order log, on the left, shows what happens to your money, newest on top: every order sent, every fill, every refusal and cancel, exits, halts, locates, risk, arming, and paper or live. News for your symbols appears here too.
Warnings always show
A warning or a failure always appears, whatever it is about, from a ladder price that would not move, to a shortcut that could not be saved. So nothing that went wrong can hide. Every refusal and cancel is listed too, so a trade that did not happen has a reason.
EXECUTIONS
On the right, EXECUTIONS lists every fill as it happens: the time, the side, the quantity, the symbol and the price, the net, and the profile, source and exit reason.
show everything
The desk also writes its own bookkeeping: the market sweep's counts, why a symbol was skipped, startup checks. Calibration and profile migrations are logged there too. That is kept off the pane while an order is working. Tick show everything to put it back on screen. Untick it, to go back to the order path.
Nothing is lost
Whichever way the tick is set, orders.log, beside the program, carries every line, so what was sent and what came back can always be checked later. And EXPORT packs it, with your journals and settings, into one zip, if you ever need to look into a session.
Read it after a trade
After a fast trade, the log tells the story in order: the entry sent, the broker's acknowledgement, the fill price, and how the exit was worked.
Your broker's reply
Each order's broker reply is written in the log, as the broker gave it, not as the desk summarised it.
