One trade, one picture
REPORT, in ANALYSE, writes a single self-contained web page of what is on screen, with charts, beside your data, and opens it in your browser, to keep or share. With one trade selected, it writes that trade instead. This picture is from a made-up demo trade.
Before, during, after
At its heart is one picture: the minute before your entry, the whole time you held it, and the five minutes after you were out, all on one price axis, so they compare directly.
The lines
The amber line is the last sixty seconds before your fill, from your broker's tape, and it marks where the move left its quiet level. The blue line is the route while you held it, and the blue band the full range it reached. The purple line is what the stock did in the five minutes after you were out. The blue line is sampled, typically every 2 seconds, and the footer says how often. A spike between two samples is not on the blue line.
Levels and listening
The take profit and stop loss the trade was running are dashed across, from your entry on. A dotted line marks when the desk started receiving the symbol: anything to the left of it could not have been traded, however good it looks.
Two questions
Read together, they answer the two questions a fill raises. Was I late: how much of the move had happened before the amber line reached my entry? And was I early out: where did the purple line go after the exit? The minute before is only recorded when that option is switched on in ANALYSE. The minute before is fetched after the trade closed, from your broker's tape.
