How orders are placed

The top of each side decides how an automatic order is placed, and how often. Get these right, and the entries you want actually fill. Each side has its own order settings, so set both sides deliberately.

Entry and exit offsets

Entry offset is how many cents through the price the entry limit is placed, so it fills. Bigger means a surer fill, at a worse price. Exit offset is the same for exits, and usually deeper, because getting out is the order that must fill.

Fill or kill and TRACK

FILL OR KILL: if an entry has only partly filled, and makes no progress for this many seconds, the unfilled rest is cancelled. You keep what filled. TRACK sizes both offsets from the slippage your own recent fills actually took, times the multiplier, and never smaller than the cents you typed.

FREE ENTRY

FREE ENTRY places the entry limit a few cents away from the market, so it rests instead of crossing. On a maker-taker schedule, a resting fill can be commission free. But it may never fill. Resting entries are never killed by fill or kill.

Pacing a side

Max pos is how many positions this side may hold at once. Cooldown is how many seconds before the same stock may be entered again on this side. Cooldown is counted on this side only, not across both sides. Confirm after is the shakeout wait: after a trigger, wait this long, ignore the dip, then enter on the first price back at or past the trigger.

With a hard stop

And if that wait saw a real dip, Stop under dip puts a hard stop that far beyond it. On the short side, it is Stop over pop, mirrored. Zero switches either one off.
